Dr. Ed Patrick
Dr. Patrick was born in southern Wisconsin. He attended elementary and high school in Burlington and pre-chiropractic college at the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.
He became interested in Chiropractic treatment during his high school years when he was introduced to Chiropractic as a way of treating and improving overall health without the use of drugs or surgery. He attended chiropractic college in Lombard, Illinois, and graduated cum laude in 1973 with an undergraduate degree in human biology and a Doctorate in Chiropractic. He practiced for 44 years in Elgin and moved to Indian Land in April 2018.
Dr. Patrick was active in his community and church, chairing many committees. He was active in coaching at multiple levels, including boys’ baseball (ages 6-16), girls’ softball (ages 8-13), boys’ basketball (ages 9-13), and girls’ basketball (ages 9-18). His coaching “career” ended with coaching his grandson’s soccer team.
He and his wife of 46 years have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. They moved to the Charlotte area near their daughter and 3 grandsons.
Dr. Patrick continues to have a passion for Chiropractic adjustment and is excited about the opportunity to continue his passion with Dr. Cooper at Carolina Chiropractic & Wellness. One of Dr. Patrick’s long-term goals has been to be a practicing Chiropractor for 50 years, and he recently shared with his wife, Linda, that he would like to modify that goal to “at least 50 years.”
